Damn you Iowa for sending all of your snow to us! We don't want it! However, it really is a very pretty snow! Very light and soft, falling slowly and melting instantly on the ground. And why did the groundhog go back into the hole? I don't want six more weeks of winter! I suppose I wouldn't want to crawl out in this weather either!
Okay, so the last few days, I've been randomly waking up in the middle of the night, freaked out, because I hear something. I think my apartment may be haunted! I'm serious! One reason why I think so: when you open my door, on the inside it reads, "RIP!" Are you kidding me? Was someone murdered in my apartment? Was it a heart attack? Drug overdose? Hell, I don't know! All I know is, if I see a ghost...I'll be six feet under! I don't do scary! I can't go through haunted houses. I can't watch scary movies. I'm scared of my own shadow. This isn't good.
Have you seen the new iPad? I personally think it's a waste of money. It's like the Mac, combined with the iTouch. It's pointless. Spend your $500 on something useful. My suggestion: a weekend get-away! Check this place out! It's called, Blantyre. It looks like such a great weekend away! I tell ya' what...the men reading this blog have received so many great ideas for V-Day gifts and great little things every other day of the week, their girlfriends/wives will be swept away! Go ahead, gentlemen. You can take the credit! ;) However, the best gift anyone can receive, is one you thought of. You don't need anything expensive. Nothing lavish. Just from the heart. Those are the best gifts any girl loves to receive! Like I've said before, just knowing you took the time to make us something, or plan something that you know the other person will love, is good enough for us! Well...at least for most girls!
Have you ever heard of white, barbeque sauce?! I know! Who would have thought! Apparently, it's famous in Alabama! BBQ is my FAVORITE kind of food on earth! So, a new type of BBQ sauce is so exciting for me! AND I found out on Saturday night, NYC has the "Big Apple BBQ Block Party!"Needless to say, I can't wait for July!!!! Check out the website! It's going to be two days of tasteful goodness for me! My mouth is already watering! ;)
On the walk home, there is a gentlemen walking in front of me. All of a sudden, he face plants in on the sidewalk. They are a bit slippery from the snow! It is so funny!!! He gets up and instantly turns around, checking to see if anyone say. Yes, sir! I did see you completely biff it in your fancy suit! LOL!!! I tried so hard not to laugh, but I couldn't help it! Classic! I then see him walk into my apartment building! I can't go in there after I laughed at him! So, I hang back for a bit, while he gets in the elevator!
Note to self: When you know something about someone, that they don't know you know about them, is great! You can have so much fun with them, and they will have NO idea what's going on! So, it sounds a little caniving, but whatever! You can get over that! Don't be mean about it, but be smart about it. After all, most of the time when you know these things, it's about someone that made you mad previously. So, you can consider it good karma for you! ;)
