Today is a bittersweet day for me. I told my jobs, I am leaving. (Tear rolls down the face) =( I love New York, but I can't wait to get to Florida, either! I will most definitely come back to visit, over and over, but as far as living goes...I can't do it. Oh well! I tried! Like I've said, living in New York City has always been something I've dreamed of doing. I would have been mad at myself forever, if I never took this plunge!
So, the cough medicine I took last night, did not work. Ugh. I think I may have went through a whole box of Kleenex tissues. Cough medicine does nothing for me--it never has. If anyone has good suggestions (hint hint to all you moms out there), please let me know! I will tell you this though...the aloe, anti-viral Kleenex are the bomb! My nose still feels soft after all of the damage done. ;)
I'm at work, not spacing off, but not really "with it" either. A group of guests walk past me, the lady smiles and says, "Hi." So, I smile back and say, "Hello." She seemed like a very nice women. I thought to myself, Goodness, she looks familiar. I know I know her from somewhere. She really looks like _____ _____. Well, guess what? It was her! I can't say her name, but I can tell you she is known for her country music and a really funny television show! There was one other super sexy country star there also. Whew hew! Rastle me up a down-home, country man! ;)
Well, I'm miserable, so I'm going to bed. Goodnight!
Note to self: Always be mindful of HOW you say something to someone. It doesn't matter what comes out of your mouth. The tone in your voice says it all. Even though you don't mean to sound a certain way, doesn't mean the other person takes it as such. You don't mean to sound snippy with guests, but when it's brought to your attention that you were, it's pretty embarrassing. So just be careful of your tone. Also, saying nothing also says a whole lot too! Good or bad. ;)
